  • Le Vigne is a wine created from three different vineyards, each of which brings its own contribution. The first vineyard, Vignane, is situated in the historical part of the Barolo appellation and shares many characteristics with Cannubi but does not possess the latter’s aromatic complexity. The wines show softness and elegance, and a distinct mid-palate mouthfeel that enhances the sense of richness when combined with other, more austere grapes. The Merli vineyard is located in Novello, with the Sandrone section in a south-southwest facing bowl that captures the afternoon light perfectly. The wines made from here are earthy and robust but with good aromatic complexity. the third vineyard, Baudana, is a newly acquired site in Serralunga d’Alba, and gives the wine an additional depth and richness.

  • Rich aromas of cherries, strawberries with just a subtle hint of earth and leather. Absolutely coats your mouth with classic Amarone sweetness, raisins, dark cherry, chocolate.

  • Deep color and the brooding duskiness on the nose is inviting. The second in the mouth raises just a glance, but then the big tennins hit behind those ripe blackcurrant flavours. Nice balanced acidity is there to wrap everything up.

  • The wine displays a deep, dense-colored hue, while on the nose there are powerful ripe fruit aromas mingling with floral notes. Feminine in style, the wine has a seductive, rich mouthfeel, underpinned by elegant, silky tannins. The finish is long and harmonious, promising very long aging potential in bottle.

  • Very nice and deep purple color. Black and red fruits with a delicate hint of coffee and liquorice on the nose. This wine is rather tight but tannins are fine and delicate. The structure of this wine is balanced by its nice harmony.

  • Great vintages follow one another, but they are never the same. The 2010 vintage is much different that of 2009.The freshness of this vintage is remarkable with such naturally high alcohol content. Amazingly, the acid, alcohol, and tannins form a perfect harmony. Surely this is what makes the 2010 vintage so powerful. It’s exceptional to see how such harmony, with all the extraordinary elements, gives us such a “sumptuous” wine.

  • Deep color and fruit, some florality, depth, a little four-square but good fruit.

  • Fresh butter, white flowers, and spicy, notes. A wave of toasted brioche and a hint of citrus fruit confirm this extraordinary Brut Champagne’s elegance and harmony and then becomes full-bodied, rich and generous.

  • The light golden color heralds a radiant entrance. The attack is languorously rounded, velvety and harmonious creamy bubbles, and lovely flavours of yellow fruits and nuts, uplifted by a note of freshness.

  • Light salmon pink colour. Somewhat close on the nose, but hints of grapefruit, lemon, chalk and green apple. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, chalk, green apple and toast. Medium long and dry finish with hints of toast and lemon. Small and lively bubbles. Surprisingly dry for a rose Champagne.
