Our Wine Chancellor

Franck Ramage

With over 20 years of experience in fine wines, Franck Ramage commenced his career in the early 1990s as a sommelier in a few Michelin-starred establishments. Later, he joined the renowned Hotel de Crillon at Les Ambassadeurs and advanced to deputy director for seven years.

In 1999, Franck became a sommelier professor and taught tasting, service techniques, oenology, legislation and food and wine pairings at Albert de Mun, a hospitality school in Paris. After over a decade of educating the younger generation of sommeliers, he joined Le Cordon Bleu Paris, where he served as the head of the wine department in 2011.

His intense passion for wine is evident throughout his career as he continuously perfects his skills. From 2005, he has been a member of the Association des Sommeliers de Paris (ASP) Board and has been accredited for teaching by the Comité Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bordeaux (CIVB) since 2007, and the Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac (BNIC) since 2015.

Franck Ramage received the title of Master Sommelier from l’Union de la Sommellerie Française in 2012. In November 2019, alongside Charlotte King whom he met working in LCB Paris, he embarked on a new adventure, founding KIRA and Bacchus & Clio, which specialises in wine education, operations training, wine selection, tailor-made experiences, and vineyard study trips.

He is currently the wine chancellor of the Focus Dynamic Group.
